Major sporting events frequently generate a concentration of male tourists, fostering a masculinist atmosphere. Many of them have triggered a spike in demand for the purchase of sex acts, representing an opportunity for pimps and traffickers.


In this panel, officials, journalists, advocates and frontline workers will share their analysis and initiatives to prevent the commodification of women in the perspective of the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix of Montréal, the Paris Olympic Games and the European Football Championship in Germany.
