Raquel Rosario Sánchez is a writer, campaigner and researcher from the Dominican Republic. 


She specializes in ending male violence against girls and women. Her writing has been featured in numerous English-speaking outlets such as The Times, The Telegraph, Al Jazeera, Newsweek, The Spectator, The Critic and many others. She is a columnist for Dominican newspaper El Caribe and a contributor for Spanish platform Tribuna Feminista


On an international level, Raquel advocates for the protection and/or strengthening of sex-based rights. 


As a researcher, she is pursuing a PhD with the Centre for Gender and Violence Research at the University of Bristol. Her MA and PhD work focus on men who pay for sex. Outside the public eye, Raquel is a frontline worker in women's services.
